Display And Design

The TicWatch E3 features a 1.3-inch circular AMOLED screen display that has a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels. This watch is about 12.6mm thick and its bands are interchangeable meaning you can switch them to match any outfit. Additionally, its display is dustproof (rated IP68).

On the other hand, the Fitbit Sense comes with a larger OLED display that measures about 1.58 inches giving the user a better user experience.

Sense is slightly less thick than TicWatch E3 (12.35mm with a case size of 40.5mm). It also weighs about 46g grams thus light and comfortable. The bands on Fitbit Sense and Sense 2 are also changeable.

Like the Mobvoi TicWatch E3, the display on Sense and Sense 2 are dustproof and rated IP68 too. Unlike the TicWatch E3, the Fitbit Sense watches come with a display made of damage-resistant glass. Both displays are touchscreen and respond well to touch.

Location Tracking

Both of these smartwatches come with GPS that will help you keep track of your morning runs, cycles, and walks. Also, both activity watches don’t share GPS meaning they all come with built-in GPS.

A fitness tracker with built-in GPS is a good option because it gives you a reason for not carrying your smartphone along while running, cycling, or walking. TicWatch E3’s GPS supports the Beidou satellite systems.

Water Resistance Rating

TicWatch E3 and Fitbit Sense are both waterproof watches. They are both waterproof to 5 ATMs (IP68) which means all their cases can put up with submersions of up to 50 meters in water.

If you are crazy about swimming and want a smartwatch that won’t get water-damaged go for either of the two watches.

Fitbit Sense and Mobvoi TicWatch E3 are also the best smartwatches for the shower because they will withstand water spills the shallow submersion in the bathtub. Just make sure the water from the shower or bathtub is not hot.

Communication

For those looking for Fitbit or a Mobvoi watch that can make calls or answer calls the Fitbit Sense and TicWatch E3 are both great options because they both signal incoming calls and can either answer or reject the calls.

TicWatch E3 and Sense are managed by Wear OS 3 and Fitbit OS version 5.1 respectively to manage their resources and allocate the resources to other programs within the watch.

Connectivity

Apart from both watches having built-in GPS+GLONASS to map routes and paces, they both come with Bluetooth version 5 connections.

The E3 and Fitbit Sense both feature gyroscopes that will track their orientation. In other words, measure the angular rotation of velocity.

Both the watches come with heart rate (HR) monitors to will keep track of your all day, all night, and every day plus tell you if you are stressed on not.

Sense and E3 also have built-in blood oxygen sensors (SpO2) to help find the level of oxygen that is in your blood.

Oxygen levels in the blood are presented in percentage and a blood oxygen level range of 90% to 100% is considered good anything below that requires medical attention.

In addition, both watches have an ECG reading. You will also be able to keep track of steps, calories burned, stairs climbed, and others with either of the watches.

You will also find a built-in Mobi TicSleep 2.0 that will provide you with a breakdown of how long you were asleep and your sleep stages (light, deep, and REM sleep). Fitbit Sense as well will provide you with sleep results from sleep duration to sleep stages.

Companion App

Sense and TicWatch E3 come with apps that will provide you with daily workout and wellness reports. Fitbit Sense uses the Fitbit app while the TicWatch E3 uses the Mobvoi app.

Related Comparisons

Which Smartwatch should I Buy: TicWatch E3 or Fitbit Sense?

Both activity trackers are good options. However, in our opinion, the TicWatch E3 by Mobvoi is the better choice due to its numerous health and wellness features that promote a healthy lifestyle.

The display on the TicWatch E3 is large enough to navigate with minimal touch errors but not as extensive as the one on Fitbit Sense and Sense 2.

The Mobvoi TicWatch E3 is also fast, just like the Fitbit Sense and Sense 2. It tracks your walks, sleep, and stress, and rumors suggest that it will receive an OS update from Google.

Additionally, the TicWatch E3 is one of the affordable Wear OS 3 watches from Mobvoi, making it a cost-effective alternative to the Fitbit Sense. Therefore, buying the TicWatch E3 is a great option.
